Turkish spelling of St. Toros Armenian Church: Surp Toros Ermeni Kilisesi

Description translated from Turkish:

Günyamaç Village Church is 43 km from Sivas City Center and 7 km from Hafik District.

The church is made of salt stone (jips) in three naves, close to the square. The interior of the church, the roof covered with wooden lines supported by eight wooden poles placed on the stone base, is covered with soil on the corners adjacent to the body side walls. There are two nartheses on both sides of the semicircular abscess.

The church was largely destroyed due to illegal excavations, some of its walls were destroyed and neglected. There are stones with cross motifs that have been largely erased on the walls of the inner and outer body. (Source: Sivas Provincial Culture and Tourism Director)
